The other night, I had a dream that involved my school, Bill and Tom Kaulitz from Tokio Hotel, and Transformers.
In the beginning, I was standing in my Earth Science classroom (that didn't look a thing like the actual classroom we use, but I somehow knew which class it was). I was facing a navy blue counter that sat in the back room, and above the counter was a large window. On top of the counter was a small tank that was filled with plants, and there was this boy standing in front of it and I assumed that it was his. I can't remember a single detail of what this boy looked like and I never found out his name, but he plays a very large role in this dream.
Suddenly, everything shifted and we were in one of the upper level hallways of my school. We kind of have a sky roof in the upper levels, so the sun shines in and makes the hallways a little brighter. I was walking with that one boy (let's just call him Kid for now) down the hallway, and it was pretty crowded. Apparently we were assigned to a secret mission that involved the Government and the White House. The Government was planning something and it was our job to find out what. And the classrooms in this hallway were replaced with dorm rooms, and those who were part of the secret mission had rainbow-colored doors. Kid and I sneak around the building every now and then for no apparent reason, though I don't get to see very much of this, my mind just registered that we snuck around.
Next, Kid and I were in gym. We were in my old elementary school's gymnasium (that was also used as a lunch room; they would pull the tables away from the walls and unfold them), and we were supposed to be doing some sort of exercises that required us to be lying on our stomachs. I happened to spot Bill and Tom (who were only about fifteen or sixteen) on the other side of the large group of kids as we sat up and I thought, "Oh hey, it's Bill and Tom." I don't think they were famous in my dream. Then, the coach (who was pretty much nonexistent since I never saw or heard him) apparently ordered us to stand up and gather in a group so he could tell us something. Bill ended up standing next to me and, although he and I were complete strangers, I decided to lay my head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around my shoulders.
Then everything shifted to us walking up a staircase after the class was over (I no longer recognized the school I was in anymore, but it was supposed to be the same one). I ended up giving Bill my phone number and instead of myself making the gesture, Bill made the gesture with his fingers that meant 'call me'. I nodded and Kid and I walked to our dorm rooms - I'm not sure if we shared one or not. I never got to see the inside of them, nor where mine was located.
We now skip forward to the following morning. By some random occurrence, I somehow had a lead on where we'd be able to find out what the Government's secret plans were. And remember how I said those involved in the mission had their dorm room doors painted in rainbow colors? Well, apparently they were called Colors. I don't know why my mind came up with such a ridiculous group name, but I'm just connecting the dots here and figuring it had to do with the doors. I walked down the hall, smacking each rainbow-colored door on my way as I shouted, "Colors, wake up!"
Now, Kid and I (along with a few other people that I never really saw) were in this very large, dark, ancient room. The ceiling couldn't have been more than eight feet high, but the room was very long and wide. I was standing in the very middle of the room, and suddenly, a large face pops out of the North wall (which is the direction I'm facing) and it looks like a Transformer. I somehow knew it was a Decepticon, even though they weren't supposed to be on the good side. It had a very low tone, but it spoke loudly and, quite frankly, it scared the crap out of me. It was shouting at us and every now and then, it would switch walls. As it spoke, it shook the entire room.
Then, the Decepticon stands up and we're suddenly flying to the White House, which is sitting on top of a rocky cliff that overlooks the ocean. We reach one of the windows and we see a big group of people standing inside this large room and Kid and I are like, "This is it! We're going to find out what they're planning!"
And then I wake up. ಠ_ಠ
I have no idea where my mind comes up with these things. I really don't.
( List!Collapse )Day Two: Your Favorite Movie
Hmm... my favorite movie. I can't say that I have a favorite movie of all time because there are tons of movies I enjoy and I could never pick just one. But right now, the movie I've really been hooked on is Cinderella Man
. It has a lot to do with the Great Depression, and it really depicts how life was in the 20s and 30s.
I think I like it so much because for one: I adore learning about the past, and two: I really favor the 20s. It's one of my favorite decades, right after the 80s. And it's just one of those movies that has a wonderful story behind it - not only is it based on a true
story, but it's really intriguing and everything about it draws you in.
In all honesty, I didn't expect to like it at first. I really didn't. But I found myself really getting into the movie and waiting on the edge of my seat to see what was going to happen next. That doesn't happen often and I really admire those who worked on the film for making it so unforgettable. I could watch it over and over again (which I have)."Cinderella Man" IMDB Page
I realize I haven't been on livejournal in forever and a day. It's not that I don't like livejournal, it's just that I've had other things to do. I've made some icons that I'll post up here eventually (eventually meaning when I'm not being lazy), and I've also got some banners that will be posted up along with them. But for now, I'm going to go by this list:( List!Collapse )
I got it from my friend Sami's journal (smpvjh
) and a while ago she suggested I do it, just so I'll have something to do (and so I'll be on livejournal more often). So I figured, why not? And to start off the list, I'll go ahead and make today day one. I doubt anyone's going to be reading this, but what the hell.Day One: Your Favorite Song
My favorite song would have to be "Macy's Day Parade" by Green Day. I remember when I first heard the song. It was actually my least favorite off of the album at first. I don't know why; I think I was rather picky at the time and didn't really pay much attention to the words, and instead listened to the beat. But when I finally followed along with the lyrics, I realized how beautiful the song was and how much the words really related to me. The song is kind of like my motivator, and it really means something to me.Song and Lyrics
Oh my goodness. It's been months since I've posted on here. I don't know about you, but that's just ridiculous. I finished my sophomore year with a bang; and I say that in the worst possible way. The only thing worth mentioning is that I did decent
on my finals. This summer has gone pretty well; I got out of school on May 21st. That's one of the perks of living where I do. I bought Green Day's newest album, 21st Century Breakdown, back in May and have been listening to it nonstop since. It's a pretty amazing album, huh? A while back I bought some Green Day tickets for August 22nd when they come here, so that's going to be exciting. You can only imagine the look on my face when the tickets arrived in the mail. Anyone else going to see them during their '09 tour?
Lately, I've been thinking about making a graphics community. What do you guys think? It would be based solely on bands/musicians. Just let me know what you think of that idea, and if you might visit the community sometime. You're welcome to state your opinion on the matter in a comment on here.
You can check back here for any information on the community. If I decide to make one, I'll post the link here.
But anyways, since I've been away, I've made a few things that I'd like to share with you guys. Hope you like them! Enjoy (what's left of) your summer vacation! :) Teasers:

Please let me know if you take any, and remember to credit!
After four long months, it's finally the end of the first semester and, more importantly, the start of winter vacation! I can't even begin to tell you how thrilled I am for the upcoming two weeks of full relaxation. Not to sound completely egotistical or anything, but I think I deserve it; a breather is exactly what I need after working my ass of in the preparation for the final exams.
Anyways, with this lovely vacation news, I come bearing many Tokio Hotel icons just for your enjoyment and as an early Christmas gift. Just remember to credit :) Teasers:
